The usual format will apply, the best 4 from 9 races plus any marathon prior to 31 October. After the closing date should any member complete the marathon the recorded time can be counted for the following years championship. Remember if you wish your marathon to be included as a championship counter, you, personally, must pass this information in writing to any committee member, stating the race name, the date and your official time.

Other Events -
for 2006
Optional Trail Race: The Bluebell 10 mile trail race (early May). It has been suggested we try this as a non counter to gauge if this type of event could be included in future championsips. More details to follow.
In addition to our Club Championship some of you may also be interested in taking part in the Central Lancs Grand Prix (the best 6 from the following 8 races are required to complete the Grand Prix). *Two of the races have also been chosen for inclusion in our Club Championship.
